Works just as advertised.
The most difficult part of the installation is getting the head unit back in place after installation due to the extra bulk of the added harness and connectors.

Replacing the PCM unit in my 2011 Porsche at a shop would have cost between $2,000 and $2,500. I came across this product and decided to give it a try. I was very skeptical, but for the price I figured it was worth a try. I'm not particularly handy, but installation took less than a day. I was helped by one of Carabc's competitors that has a great video covering this: https://www.gtacarkits.com/product/wireless-carplay-and-androidauto-integration-for-porsche-911-2009-2012/. (Note, they charge more than Carabc for the same board). I did find that the casing for the CD unit supplied by Carabc didn't really fit. How I was able to modify the existing one to accomodate the wiring. I also found it was impossible to reinstall the unit with the wiring harness for the reverse camers. There simply isn't enough room for all the new wires. Other than those things, it all went great.
