🇩🇪 Bewertung – CARABC DB601 (Deutsch)

Ich habe mir das CARABC DB601 CarPlay-System für die BMW R 1300 GS bewusst selbst und unabhängig gekauft, da mir ehrliche und transparente Tests besonders wichtig sind. Dieser Erfahrungsbericht ist nicht gesponsert.

Ich bin maximal positiv überrascht, wie einfach die Installation an meiner BMW R 1300 GS war. Das System passt perfekt in die originale BMW-Navihalterung, ist schnell montiert und macht insgesamt einen sehr hochwertigen und sauberen Eindruck.

Im Betrieb funktioniert das CarPlay absolut einwandfrei. Besonders wichtig für mich ist die App Calimoto, da ich sie regelmäßig für Touren und kurvige Strecken nutze – und genau hier überzeugt das System auf ganzer Linie. Calimoto läuft stabil, flüssig und ohne Verbindungsabbrüche, die Darstellung ist klar und auch während der Fahrt sehr gut ablesbar.

Die Bedienung ist intuitiv, die Apps reagieren schnell, und die Integration über Wireless Apple CarPlay funktioniert zuverlässig. Zusätzlich lässt sich das System bequem über das Display oder das BMW WonderWheel steuern.

Auch die Connectivity zu meiner Sena-Freisprecheinrichtung ist hervorragend. Navigation, Musik und Telefonie greifen sauber ineinander, ohne Verzögerungen oder Aussetzer. Das 6-Zoll-HD-Display ist dank hoher Helligkeit und Antireflexbeschichtung selbst bei starker Sonneneinstrahlung gut ablesbar und durch die IP68-Zertifizierung optimal gegen Regen und Schmutz geschützt.

Mein erster Eindruck auf der BMW R 1300 GS ist durchweg positiv: alles läuft stabil, logisch und zuverlässig – genau so, wie man es sich auf dem Motorrad wünscht.

Ich werde das CARABC DB601 nun über das neue Jahr hinweg ausführlich im Alltag testen und anschließend ein detailliertes Video dazu veröffentlichen.

I purchased the CARABC DB601 CarPlay system for the BMW R 1300 GS completely independently, as honest and transparent reviews are very important to me. This review is not sponsored.

I’m extremely positively surprised by how easy the installation was on my BMW R 1300 GS. The unit fits perfectly into the stock BMW navigation mount and feels well built and cleanly integrated.

In use, the CarPlay system works flawlessly. One of the most important apps for me is Calimoto, as I regularly use it for touring and twisty roads — and this is where the system really shines. Calimoto runs smoothly, reliably, and without any connection issues, with a clear and easy-to-read display while riding.

The interface is intuitive, apps respond quickly, and wireless Apple CarPlay connects reliably every time. The system can be controlled via the touchscreen or the original BMW WonderWheel, which works very well.

Connectivity with my Sena intercom is excellent — navigation prompts, music, and phone calls work together seamlessly. The 6-inch HD display remains readable even in bright sunlight thanks to its high brightness and anti-glare coating, and the IP68 waterproof rating makes it perfectly suitable for all weather conditions.

Mounted on the BMW R 1300 GS, everything runs stable, clean, and reliable — exactly what you want on a motorcycle.

To jest mój kolejny CarPlay do motocykla ale pierwszy od carabc i pierwszy do mojego R1250GS. Wszystko działa perfect. Jakość dźwięku super, wszystkie apki działają jak w samochodowym systemie CarPlay. Instrukcja jest zbyt uboga, do wielu rzeczy trzeba dojść samemu. Mam iPhone i kask sparowany z systemem BMW, a z DB601 tylko iPhone. Uwaga zależnie od rodzaju interkomu trzeba szukać rozwiązań żeby działały komunikaty mapy Google . Sam sprzęt jest super i idealnie pasuje i wygląda w oryginalnym mocowaniu nawigacji BMW. Polecam.

Este es un buen producto. Solo con ver la caja en la que llega ya se nota que cuidan la imagen y la calidad del producto en general. Me llegó a los 15 días del pedido. Por venir de china, no está mal.
Los materiales del producto también se perciben de buena calidad. Plástico muy duro y resistente, cristal fuerte, y montaje muy firme.
El montaje en la moto es fácil, aunque tienes que hacer bastante fuerza, y la calidad de imagen más que suficiente. Incluso la interacción con la rueda del manillar de la BMW está bien resuelto. Y la pantalla táctil, aunque montado en moto poco se usa, es cómoda en parado y responde muy bien.
Este es el segundo carabc DB601 que recibo. El primero tuvo un defecto y al mes de uso dejó de funcionar. Contacté con el servicio, y después de enviar un vídeo demostrando que no se encendía, me enviaron la segunda unidad, que funciona perfectamente. Un 10 el servicio postventa.

I’ve been testing the Carabc DB601 for a little while now, and I could only try it with Apple CarPlay. Overall, the experience has been quite solid. The setup was easy, and the device connected without any issues. Once CarPlay was running, the screen was bright and easy to read, even in direct sunlight, which is a big plus for riding or driving during the day.

Navigation (TomTom snd Calimoto), music, and messages all functioned as expected, and I didn’t encounter frequent disconnects. The sound quality on the Sena for HJC Helmets was fine, and the unit responded well enough for everyday use.

It does a great job, but there aren’t many extra features or customization options - like lean angle data, etc.

In conclusion, if you just want a simple and solid way to bring Apple CarPlay to your bmw motorcycle without spending too much, the DB601 is a perfect option.

Ich nutze es seit Anfang 2025 auf meiner R1250 GS ADV und bin sehr zufrieden.
Es passt in die original Navi Halterung und die Motorrad Daten werden zuverlässig im Display angezeigt.
Navigation über Google Maps und Kurviger problemslos und die Steuerung über das WonderWheel ist perfekt.
Kann es nur empfehlen!
