Ford Sync2 System Wireless CarPlay & Android Auto

What a box it is very good product easy to install and a quick delivery service from the company.

Went together quickly. Directions a little vague, but found good YouTube videos to assist. Unit is working as advertised.

Doesn’t work half the time

I followed a few independent YouTubers videos for the install which went well. There is very little documentation or instructions for the dip switches or many of the additional wires included in this setup. Also the audio for both calls and music does not always play correctly, but after switching back and forth between stock and the Carabc box it works.

Overall I am happy with the product but there are some quirks that hold it back from being 5 stars.

Really pleased with the product. It took 2hrs to complete the job. The written instructions have qrcodes for videos showing you how to remove the dash and another on how to connect the PCB to the ford sync screen unit. However you will need to drill a small hole in the outer metal casing enable the lvdc cable to pass through. Once you've fitted and wired the module, you will need to connect your phone. Connect to sync 2 and connectbto your module. When connecting to the module via bluetooth, you will find the audio is poor, so to bypass this, keep you phone bluetoothed to your ford sync 2 system and enable calls and audio, however on the bluetooth settings for the module, turn off calls and audio. so essentially your just using the new module for the screen functionality like Google maps and spoitfy etc... do not connect to the BT transmitter, just ignore that when scanning for bluetooth devices. Once you've got carplay or android option on the screen, swipe to the right and click on settings and select "use cars origional bt for audio." The screen will briefly restart. Now your system is ready for use.
